I used to smoke a lot, Adnan during his treatment had asked me to quit, as he was worried about my health. I have told him when you have your Hickman Line out, I will quit smoking. On 24-Sept-2011, Adnan was having an operation to remove the Hickman Line. While I was taking Adnan to the Op room, Adnan said remember dad when I come back yo can't smoke any more. I was so happy that Adnan was getting better and he doesn't need this line any longer. On the other hand I asked my self I have to stop smoking, I have promised. When Adnan came back from the Op room and started to waking up from the anesthesia, first word was " Dad you can't smoke any more", and I did quit. Unfortunately, 6 days after this op Adnan went back to the hospital as the cancer come back to him aggressively. But since that day I never smoked. I know deep in my heart this was one of Adnan's wishes when he was alive. I ask God to give the the strength to honer my son's wishes.
